What we need to take into account before we send the drone up in the air.
Fly Zones
An important word on where we can fly. It’ll come as no great surprise that there’s an exclusion zone around Airports, especially Glasgow. Fortunately Brookfield, Bridge of Weir, Houston and Kilmacolm and West are OK.
The submarines at Faslane are also not happy to see us, nor is the power station at Hunterston. From time to time there will be temp NOTAMS exclusions in other places but we always check in advance.

Insurance & Qualifications
We’re CCA qualified to a level beyond our current drone and registered so we will never fly in exclusion zones without ATC approval and that would be in an exceptional circumstance.
We also carry significant commercial and public liability insurance.
